Installation
A set of tags, alerts, reports, … which are related to each other, in most cases related to the same physical machine.
Tag
A tag is related to an installation. The tag configuration will decide how the stream of uploaded data points related to the tag will be analysed, optimised and stored.
Alert type
An alert type is related to an installation. An alert type defines the criteria that should be fulfilled to generate an alert and which notifications should be sent when an alert is triggered.
Report type
A report type is related to an installation. A report type defines the output format, content and schedule of a report.
Data point
A value uploaded by the data logger and stored on the Ikologik Industrial Cloud Platform related to a tag.
Trend line
A set of sequential data points through time that shows you the evolution of the measured values for the related tag.
Data pipe
A calculation or integration related to an installation. A data pipe can be used to process uploaded data. The processing of data can take different forms, depending on the implementation of the data pipe.
