A password reset link can be requested via the login screen or when logged in via the dropdown menu in the upper right corner.
Request a reset password link on the login page
When on the login page, click on the ‘Request new password link’ below the login form. This opens the page to request a new password. Enter the email address linked to your user account and click the ‘Request password reset’ button. An email message will be sent to your email address with a unique password reset link.
Request a unique reset password link when logged in
In the secure area of the Ikologik Industrial Cloud Platform, you can request a unique password reset link by clicking on the ‘Request new password’ button in the user dropdown menu. When clicked, an e-mail with a unique password reset link is sent to the current user’s email address.
Reset the password
When a password reset was requested, an email is sent to the user’s email address. This email contains a unique password reset link that opens the reset password page. The link in the mail is valid for 24 hours, after 24 hours a new link should be requested.
